Even in the digital age, the human touch remains key. And as such financial advice looks set to remain very much in demand, despite some arguments to the contrary over recent times. But not only does advice remain a vital part of the process, but there is also a belief that it could have a bigger role to play in the future – this is arguably especially true following the role out of the pension freedoms.
Financial advice remains a core need
On average, people tend to use three different sources when looking for financial advice - and financial advisers top that list, with 43% identifying them as a key source. In second place is the internet as cited by 42% of respondents, while information provided by banks, savings and investment providers was the choice of 30%.
Future thinking
Climate change, technological advancements and a longer, healthier life are the three trends that Britons believe are likely to have the most impact on their future.
